Africa Trade Consortium hits Nigeria with huge business investments


Over 1000 participants from the public and private sector are to converge on Abuja for the Africa trade consortium, ATC, forum aimed at promoting investments and Trade Relations within the continent and beyond.

In a statement in Abuja, the Convener of ATC Alwalled Kabir Yusuf explains that the madien edition of the  forum  in Africa   will solve the bottle neck experienced in borders and daily trade movement in the continent from the import and export of Goods.
 
According to him, the forum will provide suitable framework and guidance for the continent to meet the United Nations  sustainable development goals 2030 and African union 2063 Agenda on inclusive growth.

He explains that when African countries trade with themselves they exchange more manufactured and processed goods, have more knowledge transfer, and create more value.

He further explains that  Africa trade consortium has keyed into the  the African Continental free trade Agreement , AfCFTA, to enable countries to break into new African markets as they both diversify by export destination and type of goods produced.

Participates expected at  the forum are the vice president, Professor Yemi Osibanjo, President World Trade Organization, ministers of African Countries among others


The event is slated to hold on 12-13th October, 2022
