BESTOWED ON ALHAJI ISMA'IL ASHAFA

Born 8th Oct., 1976 to the family of ALHAJI Yusuf Umar Ashafa the (TURAKIN IKULU) and Hajiya Hadiza Yusuf Ashafa in Kamuru Ikulu village of Zangon Kataf local government area council in Kaduna State.

He obtained a Bachelor degree in Urban and Regional Planning from (ABU ZARIA)2000, and a master degree in Disaster Risk Management and Development Studies in 2016. He added a master of Philosophy {MPhil} in the year2018. Presently, his PhD is in view.. He is a lover of education.

Earlier in life, he recieved his Islamic education in Kamuru at the Mallam Sufiyanu Islamic School. While concurrently attending his first School leaving classes at Kamuru LG. He later proceeded GOVERNMENT SECONDARY SCHOOL Kachia and Hunkuyi for his West African Senior Certificate before gaining admission into ABU Zaria. 

On successful completion of his one year mandatory youth service at the Jigawa state Urban Development Board, he began his civil service career as a young town planning officer ii with Federal Capital Development Authority [FCDA] in Abuja in 2003.

He quickly grew through the ranks and file to become Assistant Director, Planning of the agency.

He is chairman of Host Communities of Nigeria Producing Oil and Gas and Impacted States, Kaduna state chapter.

He is an Egalitarian politician, Astute Philanthropist, a lover of his people, a man with the milk of human kindness, accomplished farmer. An achiever per excellence. He hold recognitions from traditional institutions, youth and women organisations, students and trade unions.  Just to mention a few.

He is married and blessed with Children. He loves football and indoor games.
